Homework 3

Do the problems enumerated below from hw3.pdf. (All problems are from the textbook, but I'm not sure if the numbering in the two English editions and the Korean edition is the same, so refer to the PDF file to check.)

The first six problems are for practice only. You do not need to submit a solution, they will not be graded.

1. Problem 4.1.
2. Problem 4.2.
3. Problem 4.4.
4. Problem 5.1.
5. Problem 5.2 (a).
6. Problem 5.4.

The following two problems should be submitted.

1. Problem 4.18.
2. Problem 5.9.

You are allowed to work in groups of two students. Submit the homework on paper in our homework box (Box #7 next to our classroom).

The deadline is April 25, just before our class.
